Hi, I'm Dave from Carlow. I'm glad I found this place as I was feeling like I was the only person who sulked if a restaurant didn't have a good beer list!

My favourite beer at the moment is Duvel and Samuel Adams although I've recently tried the new O'Hara pale ale and the Brew Dog range and like them as well.
I would love to try more specialised craft beer and am hoping for some recommendations here.

Head on up to Dublin Dave. Go in to any of the craft beer emporiums like Mulligans, B&C, Porterhouse and just start drinking.

I can recommend B&C when they have Cask Goods store IPA on (from Carlow )

All are great places to try new things.

Or log on to www.drinkstore.ie and order random beers.

Hi all!

Name is Des, live in Dublin.

I got an iBrew kit for my 30th birthday, and the first brew was done to spec as per the instructions, and while I enjoyed it, I thought it could be better.

I brewed the second lot about 4 months ago, and instead of using the supplied kegs, I bottled it, and it's just about ready to open, I plan to crack a few bottles this weekend.

I've also done an Elderflower Champagne, which is very fizzy, and quite tasty.
