Cheers mate thanks for that! Its in the utility room as i type i'll keep ya posted on the out come! one more thing does anyone have a recomendation for a good stout or porter kit?

Welcome.
I got some good results with a Coopers stout kit a few years back. As always, replace the suggested sugar with spraymalt and you'll get better results.

Hello, just chiming in as a first post, I believe I may be here more in future for advice and general banter.

And general recommendations for a first time home brew? Equipment/type of beer/etc...
