Hi I'm Brian,I used to brew a fair bit in the Eighties, then moved to Belgium where I worked in the bar trade for about 8 years.
I then went to Finland (I still haven't worked out why,)and ended up getting a job working for Markku Korhonen, the first to import real ale into Finland and co-organizer of the Helsinki Beer Festival.I stayed there for about 3 years.
So it's been a while since I had a brew on, and decided to keep it simple with a kit.
Coopers I.P.A.with Hambleton Bard Brewing Sugar.

Put it on 2 hours ago and its starting to bubble....
I'm slightly worried that its a little warm at 19c, i'd prefer a little cooler.

no that's absolutely perfect for an ale. not so warm as to produce fruitiness. Perfect! bring the results to the next tasting.
