Welcome to the community Kevin. It's great that we're reaching globally, and you are definitely going global!

Would love to see all the home-made equipment you are using. I'm a fan of self-made equipment where possible (i.e. within my technical ability).

Happy brewing!

Hi All, only new into the brewing myself, just sampled my first pale ale kit, absolutely delighted with how it turned out- I reckon this is a life changing past time!! Got a second pilsner kit now (both Coopers); just wondering has anyone tips on how to store it in a cool temperature- i dont want the scorching Irish summer to ruin my brew

Thanks, Ger

cool temps are a tough one, just wait until the weatherman says it's gonna be a scorcher and put your fermentor out in the snow .

Hi Folks, My name's Gordon. From Kildare, living in dublin..Tried brewing a homebrew kit when I was 18 and due to total lack of knowledge came out like Ditchwater so that kinda put me off. Different story now over 10 years on with this website and alot of great advice and supplies from Shane at The Homebrew Company. Got my first batch of Muntons Connoisseur Wheat beer bottled today and after initial taste test am very happy so far, will give full report in a couple of weeks. Coopers Austrailia pale ale on the go now, happily bubbling away so fingers crossed on that one too...Think I'm hooked..MMmm Beer!!

Welcome to the site, Since you are still on kits then check out the thread about homebrewwest.com as (in ingredients I believe) they have great prices for kit users.
