To us, UK means a local supplier unfortunately.
There are only a few homebrew suppliers in Ireland.

Hop and grape so dome nice conical fermenters.

Hi Corkboy here been on the site for a few weeks now and gettig great use out of it. Currently drinking my first beer a batch of Coopers Pils and it is getting good reviews from my friends. Have brewed wine for the last few years but new to beer. Interested in why a steel fermenter is prefered to my plastic one?

Looking forward to the gig in COrk at the weekend plan to travel! What is the line up? Should I plan to be there all day or would a few hours do?

Drinking Coopers Pils
Due to bottle - California Merlot
Fermenting Brewfem Wheet, California - Pino Gregio

Steel would be preferred because it's easier to clean without scratching, and therefore easier to sanitise.
That said, most of us are using plastic, or possibly glass.

Hello, my name is Niall and I'm new to this brewing thing.

Just placed an order for some equipment so hopefully I'll be starting soon, I'm hoping to get my hands on some wheat beer kits to get me started on the beer side of things. The thing I'll be focusing on will be mead though, I had 12 pounds of honey fall in to my lap so I may as well do something with it other then just eat it!

Another thing that has "fell" in to my lap is a wine fermenter,... that was used to hold diesel for awhile, would I be mad to think it can be cleaned out and put to a good use?
