I should read your blog more often. I can't say I've been bowled over by any of the Wychwood beers and I would rate Coopers Stout and Fullers London Porter highly. It would be boring if we all thought the same...

I didn't like the Pagoa Zunbeltz stout either, bit of a rancid butter taste.(diacetl?) I got the newton apple beer (horrible like concentrate apple juice pored into good beer) a Brooklyn lager (gorgeous citrus taste.) A wheinstephaner original and a sneider weiss. Also got my first aver lambic, a kriek boon,
I can see why they charge 3.95 for 35cl. Still not every day though.

Had two bottles of the Leffe Vieille Cuvee on Friday night. Definltely a nice beer, 8.2%, creamy and aromatic as the bottle says. Would happily have it again. Nice to see that companies like Inbev do produce some decent beers.

Did you not like it? I went straight to the B&C on Thursday after Drama (all on my lonesome cos my drama class won't walk that far from Temple Bar for a beer *sigh*) specifically cos I'd heard here they had it, and I thought it was just lovely. Went very well with the caesar salad I got, which surprised me. And the aroma - mmmmm.
