Yes, I'll grant you the aroma, but there just wasn't enough follow-up for my liking.

mm picked up a few bottles of the Leffe too.
Tried one a few weeks ago and couldn't decide if I really liked it or was swayed by it being so hard to get and I had some!
Certainly a very unusual beer with some odd flavours but will have to try another bottle before making a judgment.

Back at the Abbot again today. Try not to go too often as I usually tend to buy too many bottles!!!!

Picked up the followig -

Hardcore IPA (9%) and Hop Rocker Lager from Brewdog in Scotland. Very modern-looking presentiiton and interesitng website. The IPA sooks vv. interesting and look forward to sampling shortly. Euro 3.10 for a 9% 33 cl btl I think is a fair price. Onl brewign since early 2007 but seem to be doing really well so far.

McChouffe Biere Brun 75cl 8.5% from Achouffe Brewery Belgium will be for sharing (probably at my first hoembrewing session!!)

Also picked up a Weihenstephaner Tradtional Dunkel which I have not had before.

In the bargain basement secton they had jsut out of daters Augsutiner Edelstoff and Schneider Weisse Kristall for 1 euro each but guess what - I did not take any!!!!
