Had the Hardcore IPA on Friday night. Just one bottle of it and no other alcohol at all. Thought it was really good and bursting with flavour. One would feel the stronger alcohol content but that is not a criticism of it. Funny though next morning my throat felt very dry like after a few whiskies too many but had no bad head!!!!

From their website Brewdog seem to have some very interesing beers - I have a bottle of the Statuesque lager to sample but their stouts sound great too. Maybe they will arrive here some day too!! It is a very young brewery and hopefully with a great future.

I haven't tried the McChouffe yet but it looks promising!!!!

I wrote on another thread re the Hardcore beers - interested to see what you think of them.

I have a McChouffe in the fridge that I keep forgetting about because it's wrapped in brown paper. The cashier in Redmond's had a minor meltdown over it since beer doesn't get wrapped but wine does. So what about beer in 75cl bottles?! Argh!

I can never understand why off licences sell 75cl bottles of Belgian beers for nearly 3 times the price of a 33cl bottle
