Picked up a bottle of the Belgian FES in Sweeney's this afternoon (I happened to be up that way anyway <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: --> ). It is slightly stronger than the Irish-market version. I'm looking forward to comparing the two.

when you think of the price you pay in a supermarket for beer in France and compare that to the price in a pub there you start to think that Irish publicans are not making the same kind of mark up as in most other European publicans - likewise a bottle of wine in a French Restaurant is about the same as in an Irish restaurant but has a far lower cost price.
