Maybe the marketing methods are a bit ill-advised but I think some of the responses are a bit unnecessarily aggressive, as so often is the way on internet forums.

As Adeptus has pointed out, there are only 2-3 suppliers in Ireland. Lets not try to kill off others before they're off the ground. If they don't deliver the products and service, the market will take care of it but give the guy a chance!

Point taken guys. Didn't mean to sound agressive, might have been a bit careless, had a bottle of home brewed white wine in me!

Look I'd like to say thanks for the help and tips you guys are giving me, and I really don't want to mess up in here or annoy anybody.

I will try to source all the ingredients that you have mentioned. We are ordering again on Monday so if there is anything else you think we should stock, I would really appreciate you feedback. Its invaluable to us.

ye there in the links section under online brewing supplies. good quick service but bit limited on the beer side . i actually preferred the old site, maybe its just the shiny new look to it!but it does look a lot more modern now.

seems like a good price for it but i've no idea what the demand would be.

I'm doing a bit of shopping around at the moment, about to place an order at one of the three irish brewing stores. A few observations:

- No bottle tree available at homebrewwest. That's probably what'll decide where I'm gonna order from this time around.

- Muntons Gold is cheaper at thehomebrewcompany.ie, but only recently, so I think Homebrewwest should be applauded for driving prices down.

- All three (homebrewwest, thehomebrewcompany and thehomebrewcentre) have very poor websites.

- Only thehomebrewcentre make it clear enough what type of payment they'll accept - it should be very clear whether or not you'll accept Laser.

- On homebrewwest there it should be easier to buy a fermentation bucket with airlock - it took me a minute to work out whether or not the basic bucket came with a solid lid, whether or not the other lid had a hole in it, and what exactly the link to a grommet on homebrew4u had to do with anything.

- Finally I was disappointed to only find coopers pale ale on the homebrewcentre, where coopers kits are more expensive than they are at either thehomebrewcompany or homebrewwest. If homebrewwest could get that in at the same price as the other coopers kits I'd probably pick one up (and some other stuff while I'm at it).

Just general stuff there, no major complaints but I figure if I have a bit of a moan every now and then someone might improve things!
