Well, I'm buying from a German homebrew store online[/url:2kv0m1q8]. He's selling 25kg sacks[/url:2kv0m1q8] as he's bought directly from the malster (it's not re-packed in any way. So far I've been using Pilsener, Munich, Wheat, CaraMunich and malted Rye, and they've been excellent with great efficiency. I can provide you with names of some German maltsers (Weyermann in Bamberg spring to mind immediately) if you do want to enquire. I can't remember the maker of the malt I have (the sacks are in the cellar <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="

I still think people should approach Irish maltsters for the base malts if possible. I'm sure the homebrew stores could do that and offer malt to customers a lot cheaper than shipping it from the UK, and it's eco-friendly <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="
