Where did the no children thing come from? I imagined it would be similar to the last event which was family friendly. That puts paid to my plans for tomorrow afternoon then. Seems like a lot of these restrictions have been imposed late in the day, something to watch out for next time.

Seriously. The website Information page still says "entertainment for all the family" right next the sidebar that reads "strictly for over 18yrs due to last mins restrictions imposed."

a strictl over 18s policy was put on there facebook page this afternoon. it also popped up on there website

id guess there was a inspection from the insures offering to insure the gig and they lay down a few ground rules at the last min.

shame really considiring the ocktoberfest had face painting, glasses in the same location. perhaps shopping around for insurers would be better for the next event

This event is not suitable for kids - nothing for them there - the Christmas market (with santa slide) was a completely different story.

I have kids and I would prefer to get refused than pay an entry fee - only for the kids to get very bored very quickly !

in fairness i got the impression that there was going to be kids entertainment there to keep them happyier.

that siad i would only bring a kid in if i was only having one maby two at a push and because of that i would not have payed the cover fee if i was with kids.

nothing wrong with kids as long as they are happy and under control
