It was nice alright, should be seeing more of it soon or at least a slight different version of it. Its been a big success for them, especially in the US

Bog_Myrtle, did ye go early?

It was a lot more 'civilised' than your average beerfest. Coffee seemed to be the order of the day early on, and from speaking with a couple of people a pint was barely pulled before two o'clock. The gates were closed at 4.45pm too, which wasn't obvious on some of the posters I saw, and when I left around that time on Saturday people were being turned away.

With a couple of minor points to iron out I'll look forward to it next year, and it was a great first attempt.

There was also a talk on the history of beer in the house, but it coincided with my drinking time so I didn't get up to it.

What do you reckon would've been a fair price for them to pitch their wares at?

€1.50 would have been fair I think

There is a 'Oktober Bier' fest in London next week and they are charging 3.7 stg or 4,65 euro per 500ml
