True, but I do see denzel's point. How much for a pint of plain in the Porterhouse? Or in Messrs? Hooker was €4.20 in Ryan's, and similar in the B&C.
It was a nice opportunity for non-Dublin breweries to charge Dublin rates.
(Of course this is all from the punter's point of view, and not taking into consideration cost of stands, running costs etc. etc.)

We went on sunday. It was great to see so many craft breweries and other types of drinks there. A new addition were the guys from Tig Bhric in Kerry. They've only been brewing two months but their beer is already tasty and best of luck to them. Hopefully I'll get down to visit the pub soon.

I thought the whole point of the event was to get their name out there to as many people as possible. If the beer had been much cheaper, I'm sure more people would have taken a punt on it and if they didn't like it then they felt they hadn't wasted too much money on it.
