Brooklyn's one I really wanted to like, because there lager is one of my absolute favourites, but it's just got a bit too much alcohol for my liking. Haven't had a chance to try celebration yet because of exams and whatnot, but if you lot have left any behind you I'm looking forward to getting to it at some point.[/quote:sesf6buu]

I think a lot of the celebration stout was sent to America I was chatting to the barman who I think is the PH manager in Temple Bar just after he got in the celebration stout and he said something to that effect.

I bought two bottles anyway. Still have the other one on a shelf. Is it likely to rise in value like? Can I auction this baby off in a few months

does the glass that stout is served in make any difference? I've been drinking stouts/porters in my Hoegaarden Grand Cru glass[/url:1zakjbuw] lately and I'm enjoying them more for some reason

Serving temp would have more of an effect than glasses.

My favourite stout is my own Cloaked Stranger but Regular O' Haras is just brilliant from a readily available point of view.

Couldn't agree more - O'Haras Celtic Stout is an exceptional beer (in bottled form). I'm forever going into Redmonds with the intention of buying something new and exotic and coming out with a few bottles O'Haras which I could have easily got in the Spar which is much nearer to my gaff!
