You can't trust those foreign beer styles: stick to good old Irish ones like lager.

Also the ingredient are listed a water, malted barley whole flower hop and brewers yeast . Yet un-malted barley is present in 3 of the 4 beers!

Went in last night to have a look . They have tarted up the front and sides with some bare wood and barrels but still the same layout.Big oversized chairs made from drift wood or something that are to big to sit in unless your 7ft tall and have 5ft long arms .
I sat at an ordinary sized stool and asked for the Red ale -sorry not available ! so i tried the stout. Not bad but nothing to write home about . listened to the rebel songs in the back ground for a while and then left . Ill try the "larger" and "Weissbier Lager" some other time .

The Stout bar across the road -they did in deed have three stouts Arthur ,Murps and Beamo. Did not like the errie blue lighting or the smell of food or the loud music !
so much for Rathmines

Ended up in O'Connells on Portobello -three Beamish for a tenner -not bad at all

Decided to give Tramco a look the other night.Thought the Dearg ale tasted very similar to MM Bock, albeit a bit it thinner. The weiss beer was quite good, lots of bananna aroma. The stout wasnt on, some problem with the gas and I didnt try the "larger".

If anyone knows this place you will know how vast it is...so when a total of about 10people are there on a saturday night it doesnt make for somewhere you want to stay too long! It's closed sun-tues for "brewing"...brewing is taking place in Kilkenny, not sure who by (other than the Tramco Brewery of course) but the barman seemed to think they are planning more pubs with the same beers.
