Is this something that Beoir should get behind in an official capacity. Or should we all just meet up in a pub somewhere.

If Beoir endorse / get behind such an event is the stout/porter choice restricted to Irish only?

I'm away on Nov 8th but had planned a stout & porter evening for later in the month.

Apart from Leann Folláin, Blackrock, Dark Arts etc I was planning on Black Cab stout and London Porter.

It is International Stout day, so it looks like London Stout is in.

I had a look at the site and looked under 'Recipes' thinking this would advise Grain Bill, Hop Additions etc.

No.

I don't see why it should be any more complicated than "Select a time/venue and people stick name on list". Or do we want to go fancy and get printing and stuff.

Otherwise, I'd also put to together some copy to send to stoutday.com saying that Beoir fully endorses International Stout Day; and maybe list our craft indigenous stouts.
