was this not the battle where Welsh bowmen saved the English kings arse by killing the french knights who as they walked slowly forwarded the armour they wore could not resist the extra large welsh bows.
As a foot note to this did you know that this is where the "giving a 2 fingered gesture" to your opposite came from. After this battle noblemen knights where no longer safe from peasant soldiers and they hated them for this,so when they caught bow men they would cut off their fingers. At a time of battle when army,s lined up and faced each other the bow men would taunt the opposite knights by gesturing with their 2 fingers and declare,
"A peasant gets to kill a noble man today and the king says its OK". <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) -->

Everybody should be in permanent fear of the QI buzzer.

If there's no evidence for it, you can't say it's true.
