Errr. I'll do the marketing:
"Irish Craft Brewpub: No consistency in a world gone sane."
"Irish Craft Brewpub: Because Porterhouse beer is made from dead people."
"Irish Craft Brewpub: It's in the north inner city but you probably won't get stabbed going home [size=75:3frbaxoo](Terms & conditions apply)[/size:3frbaxoo]."[/quote:3frbaxoo]

Or you could mimic the macro brewers' approach to advertising

Irish Craft Brewpub: "Consuming our beverages will make you sexually attractive and give you the sort of lifestlye which you previously could only have dreamt of"
It's snappy

He must be offering some money too. €200,000 will only get you the pub licence, all other brewery and pub set-up costs are extra.

Like I say, the brewery and pub are all still there.

Fine: 200 grand and a duster.

I saw that van about the place too. The ex owner of the place can be found behind the bar in Sinn e from time to time. The excise duty killed them, apprently. The 50% reduction came too late for them and they couldn't recover. Almost every other craft brewer would have hit the wall by now if the reduction hadn't been brought in.

ask him next time who the liquidator is, or who owns the lease? or even how much he'd take for it if he still owns it? i used to love the pints of darcys and revolution in the cobblestones - just made sure to sit far enough away from the jacks as they used huge amounts of bleach in there. i think DBC were unlucky with their timing alright if they could have held on another couple of years they'd be laughing and so would we. one thing that i think they could have done better was to have seasonal beers, ah well maybe when we take it over we'll bring that in!
