If you're feeling in need of a downer, search the Companies Registration Office database for firms with "brewing" or "brewery" in the name, and count how many were established in the mid-1990s and dissolved in the couple of years before the excise duty changed.

Realistically, probably not. But most of you are equipped, so if anyone wants to expand into the generous floorspace behind the bar, they're welcome -- otherwise just drop the finished product round the back. I'll even look after the stuff while it bottle-conditions.
