First off, bigears, we have looked into cold storage for the hops and yeasts and have something sorted. Then the million dollar question, the figure I am looking at the moment is in the region of 70 euro for a reconditioned one. If anyone wants a new one we are looking at over double that figure im afraid. Any thoughts on these figures. Am trying for other sources but hard to come by. Again these are not final figures.

70 euro is not a bad price if it's ready to go. Some retailers sell them at two price points - cheaper ones are untested and ready to go ones are more expensive. Generally all that's needed to get them working are new o-rings or pressure valve. Something to consider if your time is precious. Personally I would have no interest in a new one. I got two from ebay (the infamous Norm) with shiny flow control taps fitted and they're perfect.
