Own brew here- Iteration 9. Nearly there, just a couple more tweaks.

Nice glass of Tokyo for me. Yum.

Had a Thornbridge Raven for the second week running.
My 1st commercial sample of a Black IPA, roastier(choclatey)than I expected, but very good.

Also have a duo of Young's to tackle a "Special London Ale" and a "Double Choclate Stout", looking forward to both of these!

Youngs double chocolate stout has real chocolate added to it,starts bitter at first but as you drink it the chocolate comes to the fore. Very much a dessert beer and also quite nice.

Had some homebrewed Nelson Sauvin pale ale earlier. Had my doubts when I "tested" it but quite nice fter. Now some Southern Tier Oak Aged Un*Earthly - quite nice if a bit chewy.

But it leaves me wondering why Irish distibutors would rather bringing hum ho Mendocino beers rather than something decent, like ST or Stone for example - although the recent appearance of Rogue on these shores is encouraging.

I had Rogue Hazelnut Brown and Mocha Porter on Friday and I successfully resisted the urge to blend them and make "Rogue Snickers beer" as the beers were different sizes.

(That's really the only reason; lol!)

I LOVE that malty pacman strain! High attenuation and maltiness without too much sweetness; HOW DOES IT DO IT??!?
