TOPIC:

Tonight I had some 5am Saint which I drank with my dinner, and a load of beers afterwards which I couldn't taste.

Large bottle of corked Kwak followed by a load of Bitburger. I think Bitburger might be quite bad. Very sulphury smell off it. Kwak is very unusual for a belgian strong beer in that it contains only malted barley, hops and water. No candy sugar or wheat. This gives the beer a distinctly less belgian taste. I would say in a blind test it could be mistaken for a very strong british beer (Golden pride?)

Not Friday but it is somewhere in the world.

Having a nice glass of a Belgium beer i brewed with pumpkin and spices. Fermented the harvested Rochefort yeast.

Krombacher Dark - I think its a dunkel pils

To be followed by Young's Double Chocolate Mmmmmm

Then its Fish and Chips so probably a glass or 3 of Chardonnay
