That's a review. Issue identified with a beer & critiqued- fairly done

I think it was mentioned in another thread as members of an organization that supports Irish craft beer that as members we should be nuanced in our critiques & ways of getting our messages across. Especially in relation to quality control- ultimately we want top quality local beers (especially of high consistency) to win as many people over

That's not shying away from identifying & naming beers that have problems, but naming them in a way that ideally the beers can be improved

I found the Munster beers a bit rough 'n' ready, like German brewpub lagers, but not technically flawed/infected.

An unfiltered beer that has a slow turnover can go phenolic in a non chilled beer line. If the unchilled bit is say a third of a pint you'll taste it in the likes of a lager.

So if you're in there once a week and you try a pint (and you're the only one) it can seem like the whole keg is bad.
