I pulled out a beer from the beer fridge last night and it was really good- Checked the label to see what it was- it was one of my own brews...

Just picked up a few bottles from McHugh's in Kilbarrack. Couple of bottles of Galway Hooker and Great Divide Brewing Co. Fresh Hop Pale Ale. Smells of clean citrus hops.Fresh hops oiliness is there. Sweet orange and toastey malts with notes of grapefruit and pine. Lovely stuff. gonna pick it up next time in McHugh's again. Oh and Hooker is great as well....

How much was it?

It sounds great but its [b:17on3qfj]11 quid[/b:17on3qfj] (650 mls but still...) in Drinkstore, is that the standard price here?

I type this with a very delicate head...

was making my first ever homebrew last night and for inspiration I had 2 each of Hirsch's wheat, winterale and dopplebock (7.2% )

Stomach is fine but so much alcohol will always give me a headache.

I highly recommend these beers, though not so much the weiss as there are better ones out there.

One thing to bear in mind also, these bad boys come in 500ml swing top brown bottles and are just shy of €3 each down in my local off licence so the way i see it is if those bottles are nearly €2 new from HBC, I'm getting my beer at a bargain
