Starting a Microbrewery 16 years 10 months ago #1

hi all

myself and my cousin are going to start a micro brewery and we are looking to meet anyone who might be up for the challenge of coming on board. we both have certain qualities to bring to the table but we need someone with the technical expertise.

We are sick of ireland being dominated by a few large international beers and we want to compete... if at all interested please get in touch!!!

Good for you.
Are you brewing at home currently? I know a couple of lads here are/were talking about doing something similar, so hopefully we'll get a few new beers to drink in the next short while!

not at all - we are at the very beginning. Thanks to this cisis we have industrial premises that we can use for free and we have decided that this is a great opportunity... hopefully will be brewing by end of summer.

Right, well get brewing, quick!
Did you have any ideas on what sort of beers you'd be hoping to product?
There's a thread somewhere - here[/url:18j4azfl] about some of the things you'll need to consider - legals etc.

Well as a beginner I can't offer to help too much on the technical end, but I will say the best of luck to you. More choice is never a bad thing, and I'm always keen to try good Irish brews!

The legal part could be a big hassle though, make sure you get stuck into that paperwork good and early, and understand exactly what's required of you.
