Oh and even if you decide not to use the kit, keep the can and chuck it in to another batch for some extra malt.

Don't expect the lager (im sure you have read this before) kit to taste anything much like a lager because it is an ale kit pretending to be a lager. It might turn out quite decent and better tasting than a lager, I have never done a lager kit so not sure what they are like.

Once the bug bites you will be itching to move on to more advanced methods and start a mini brewery.

To be honest I'd have preferred an Ale. But to be more honest I'd drink anything, so whatever this ends up like will suit me just fine

Hey Everyone.
I'm blisteman. Some of you might know me from boards.ie

From Dublin originally, now living in Leicester. Have been homebrewing for nearly 3 years now, and have been drinking much longer.

Hope to regularly pop in with advice and of course questions.
