Hi all,

Loving the forum.

Been brewing bits'n'bobs for about 2 years, some cider, fruit wines, extracts. Managed to piece together an AG setup two months ago and it's been working out great.

Also had a great opportunity over the summer staying with my Finnish friend on his dads farm, managed to malt some wheat and barley and open-ferment a tolerable brew (pretty good result considering we'd absolutely no clue what we were doing!).

Hey Ben, that sounds bloody brilliant, regardless of whether you felt you knew what you were doing or not!

Welcome aboard!

Howdy all, new to the site.
Name is Jeff, based in Galway.
Prob saw some of you at the ICB tour in The Oslo a short while ago.
Having my first crack at home brew at the moment.
Crazy about my craft beers, try everything I can get my hands on and glad to see people supporting the rise of good beer. Hope to do my part, I'm in the restaurant business and refuse to stock anything that isn't quality rather than just the usual stuff!
I think the public can be converted if they're made try!!

Welcome aboard, Jeff. That's what it's all about really. If we all keep chipping away, we'll make a difference in the end

Im sure people might be interested to know what restaurant? Always good to know where we can get good beer with our food.

I think it would be good if the "Pubs that stock craft beer" page also had a Restaurants section. It would influence my decision in choosing a restaurant.
