Hi All,

I may as well introduce myself now I've summoned up the courage to stop lurking and begin posting (occasionally).

I live in Dalkey. I got a homebrew kit for Christmas. The kit came with a Woodforde's "Norfolk Nog", which was delicious, but the Munton's IPA I tried brewing after that was quite poor. Reading up about it more, I'm pretty sure it was quite badly oxidised.

I've already taken the plunge and done 4 all grain brews. I got an amazing kick out of it. The smell coming off the pot when I put the hops in was unbelievable! There's no looking back now.

I know Ritchie H socially. Talking to him is part of what got me into brewing.

Going to say Hi as well lads.
Brewed wine back in the dark days and just one kit of stout.
Moved house and lost all the kit in the move!

Anyway 17 years later I'm back <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) --> Staarted off with a few kit wines about 4 months ago.
I think I've just drank too much good wine to try compete.
Tried a few Coopers kits and have to say I'm really enjoying them. 4 kits on and I think I'll try an extract brew next, would prolly eventully like to try all grain but have other things to spend money on at the minute (like food for the kids)
Any other Wexicans around here?
