I've never had Bud Light. I can't imagine a beer with less in it than Bud. I think a blind tasting may be in order.

I've already planned on getting a sixpack of Dutch Gold when I'm home for christmas. Six for a fiver was the best deal to be had growing up. Drinking them in the back yard of the primary school before a community center disco.

Bud actually launched something called Budweiser American Ale out here in an attempt to get into the fast growing craft beer market here.

I haven't been able to bring myself to try it yet. Where I am, there are too many good brewpubs, craft beer supermarkets and breweries to waste money on bud-ish beers

4 for a fiver. Does that mean tennants has seen a similar price hike too?

I might have to resort to the Scrumpy Jack or white lighting at this stage!!!

Bud light tastes of very little indeed. Though the first mouthful does have a pleasant but faint sweet malt hint to it. All down hill after that. And no, Bud Light is not my dirty secret beer. My other half is partial to it. I don't have any skeletons in my closet with respect to Bud and Bavaria type beers. I'll go without rather than drink shite. Ethanol is too nasty to drink for the hell of it.
