Go back to Boards.ie for that! This is for proper beers!

Be careful now, there's a difference between Dutch drinkers, and people who drink Dutch (gold). I'd hazard a guess that the former would never be in the same group as the latter.

I don't think it EVER got too warm for stout this summer - certainly not warm enough to lower yourself to drinking Bud. If it does I suppose you could always lob a gollybar in and turn it into a Guinness Float

Mods, I call for a banning for "a_friend_in_mead" and "beeristhereason" for bringing this forum into disrepute![/quote:djfn71li]

Fair points but in my defence i have built a bar to escape the need to go to my local and drink bud, and my social scene is in the city mostly now so that's most weekends covered too. if i lived even remotely near the city the bierhaus would never see me leave (i'd sneak out every now and again but i wouldn't let them see me)

BITR I often told Dave if I lived up the road from the Bierhaus I would find it very hard to leave there too!!!

Back to the original thread I have no confession to make as I have tried all beers at diffeent times and still occasionally drink the likes of Heineken or Bud for my sins. Actualy I find Miller the best of the macrolagers.

I do cringe however when I think that I was a loyal Carling drinker 20 odd years ago for at least 4-5 years. It is the one drink now I would never touch no matter what .... too many bad memories of that horribly gassy crappy so-called beer. Definitely the worst thing that came out of Beamish and Crawford in Ireland alog with Foster's.

"Embarrassing beers you like", I don't know about that. But embarassing beer I drink, sure there's plenty. I happen to be drinking Bavaria right now. [EDIT]with a slice of lemon

I don't know if it's a dirty little secret or not, but I like Stella. Sometimes you got no choice. In Germania you have little choice in some bars, so you just got to take your Pils and swallow them. If you had heard of them they'd probably be embarressing beers!

[size=75:j5lzflep]But I haven't seen Stella here yet![/size:j5lzflep]
