What rubbish beer do you like? All the beer fans I know have a crap beer they have a soft spot for.

I like Budweiser. There I said it. If you secretly drink the occasional can of Dutch in a park you can use this thread to confess. You will feel better for not having to hide your shame anymore.

You've really set the bar high (or should I say low?) with this. Can't see anyone topping that to be fair.

I like Bavaria.

It reminds me of my students days when you could get a six pack of it in The Pav for a fiver. We used to come up from our underground lab on a friday evening, buy some Bavaria and sit out watching the cricket* doing some classy knacker drinking.

*To this day I still have no idea how this game works.

I used to enjoy cans of Bavaria outside the Pav as well. I have very fond memories of sitting on the edge of the upper terrace before they put a fence around it. Spoilsports. But I was never under any kind of illusion that Bavaria was good beer or supposed to be enjoyed.

I also have a soft spot for Beamish Red, and enjoy pints of Murphy's, but generally only when in Cork -- the fancy Dublin version[/url:2y64ksdf] just doesn't do it for me.

I'm sure there are other rubbish beers I'll happily drink too. I don't think any of us have yet forgotten what life was like before Choice.

I would / have had Bavaria or Fosters from time to time...much of a muchness on par with the rest of the macro lagers.. I would do my level best to never drink Bud ( but i did once drink 8 pints of bud light in the US as it was on special and all the bar had was crap anyway) ..so the moral of the story is why pay for crap if you have to drink crap drink the cheap crap <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
