Regressive? Progressive?

What are the implications for the price of a pint in a pub? Will this affect the low price model followed by JDW?

They say it won't.

Anyone have a link to the actual heads of bill? I can only find the press release and news coverage.

Don't think it will effect pub price, look like the mini price per unite of alcohol is 0.60-1.00.

Its really going top punish your weekend end wine drinker, mini price of a bottle could be 8-10 euro.

Here is the formal to work out a possible minimum price Vbeerx%abv/1000= unite of alcohol, then multiply by 1 (euro) for the possible upper min price per unite.

I give up looking. They must not have been released to the public yet. Maybe later today.

If its set at 1 euro per unite, a 4.2% pint would have a min price of 2.38!

Has anyone thought:

1. Raising the minimum price will not stop the demand

2. The price increase now nets the fekers extra VAT!

3. The minimum price will just go up every year in the budgets.
