Not meaning to change the subject but did Beoir make a pre budget submission, I thought I saw one going around a few months back, but it's not on the official list:

It missed the deadline.

It got in a day or so late but that doesn't matter. It was still sent as well as sent to politicians and would have been read.
Maybe we can take some credit for its influence in the budget <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

We didn't actually ask for an increase in the ceiling, we left that up to the industry. We did ask for a similar consideration for cider producers which I don't think has happened.
We also asked them not to increase out already outrageously high duty.

All in, it's a win for the craft brewing industry but not the slam dunk we would have liked.
