I prefer cans.

Easier to store, easier to dispose of and the same beer is generally cheaper when canned. I've had London Pride and London Porter in cans (€2) in drinkstore and couldn't tell the difference.

just good science, absolute no light issues, totally impermeable to o2. Glass is not and the bottle cap can let a hell of amount in over time[/quote:12oaszoo]
What I meant was how customers perceive a can V the bottle. A poll on this would be a good idea, if you are presented with a beer for sale, and it is available in both can and bottle, which would you choose.

Is there a price difference (for the poll) and the sierra Nevada bottles are useless for re-use anyway <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="" title="Rolling Eyes" /><!-- s:roll: -->

My opinion on cans completley changed from living in England last year. I tried some of the canned ales like Hobgoblin, Pedigree, Tanglefoot & Bombardier. All were just as good as bottle and cheaper in price. I can't wait to try SN in cans if they make it over here!

Yeah, but they're great for a game of footie behind the bike shed at lunch!
