Its rumour and hear say at the minute, i've only heard iot form one source, until I can back it up full then I would take it as it is for the minute

I heard that leann follain was an accidental brew of ordinary ohara stout where too much malt was added. Rather than throw it out (being such a small brewery) they repackaged it as a strong stout. If this is true they are probably having a hard time reproducing the 'mistake'.

The original Leann Folláin was an attempt at recreating O'Hara's Celebration. There was an accident with the effect of the high gravity wort on the yeast creating an odd flavour. The beer was packaged in 33cl bottles and sold. The new Leann Folláin, the one in 50cl bottles, is a much closer approximation of O'Hara's Celebration and is as the brewer intended.

As far as I am aware, I am the only person who really liked the original odd flavoured Leann Folláin.

I was a big fan of both incarnations, the fisrt was really nice and bitter with a really harsh roasted bite!

i was not much of a fan of the leann f myself but i love there ipa at moment my second fav beer after metalman.

why dont we just nationalise the entire brewing and now that it is mentiond gas/natural resource industry. then farming,mining,all healthcare,all education,all energy production and comms <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

until this eutopian dream/orwellian nightmare comes true i am afriad there is nothing the gov can do about it
