I'd say 2 nights is probably best. We will want to start in the morning some time.
That said, if people want to leave their homes at dawn and drive down on the 8th, that's their choice.

The second poll ran for 4 days.

Personally i'll probably just do the one night - i'm going to London a couple of weeks later so don't want to be going to wild. Don't mind leaving early can do Cork in 3 hrs from Navan.

Also be more than happy to pick anyone up on the way if they like.

I've provisionally booked a room in the White House in the middle of Kinsale if anyone wants to bunk in on the Saturday night.

not sure about anyone else (and I've learnt my lesson already on this thread about making assumptions), but my understanding when joining this project was that it was a day event, I can't do an over-nighter - any chance we can arrange for the brew day to kick off at a time that would make it feasabile for day trippers? Even a 10.30 or 11 am start would make it do-able from Dublin without having to be up at a crazy hour!

Hey Dr D,I agree re the start times, Dublin to Kinsale should only take 3 hours appx to drive down. Even with an 11 start you're still gonna have to leave at 8ish.

I'm sure there will be day tripping going down, and hopefully that can lead to some car sharing etc

It is a day event yes. A lot of people will prefer to stay the night and have some drinks though but as I said, it's up to each individual to do what they want to do. Some might even prefer to drop by for half of the day as it will suit them better.
