If we must do a IPA I'd prefer a dark one.
I'm all for doing a beer that's novel as far as the Irish market is concerned but regardless I think it would be good to base it on a tried and tasted (tested) receipe. I'm sure he's have a DIPA in the pipeline too and there are other breweries with them now
