If people can make it along they an sample a double with simcoe as the main hop.

Totally agree. El Dorado and Mosiac were 4th and 5th; I'd love to see some tropical fruit hops like these thrown in.

I happened to brew a Simcoe-Citra beer yesterday, so if it turns out well, we can taste it next month.

I brewed a mosaic pale yesterday and is very tropical. Nice ripe fruit smell.

Right everyone, Sam is suggesting [b:24lyl0ch]March 8th[/b:24lyl0ch] as the brewday.
If we don't nail down a date soon, it will be pushed back much later in the year.

How does that suit people?

Also, some of the hops we are looking at might not be available. He gets his hops from Simply hops: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.simplyhops.co.uk/t90-pellets">www.simplyhops.co.uk/t90-pellets
And he uses T90 pellets.

We are a lot more limited in hops than we originally thought.

I probably can't make it, but I think we should go with that date while it's on offer.
