I forgot the closing date had passed, thankfully all who entered didn't.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who entered. I'm sure there's a lot of false modesty out there regarding the quality of the brews. This isn't Miss World, so none of that "I'm just delighted to have taken part" nonsense, if you're in, you're in to win.

Anyway we're collecting the entries up now. Final judging place and time announced as soon as we know ourselves. Thanks again to the Bierhaus and the Bull & Castle for acting as drop off points.

Though if the winner does want to Miss World it up:
"I have to thank the big guy upstairs. Thanks for looking out for us big guy. And Mom and Pop, for bringing me up right and teaching me to keep working for that dream. And my fellow contestants, you all deserved to win, I'm sending love out to you all. And especially you, the little people, I couldn't have done this without your love and support." (wipe away tear)

I've had a nosey through the literature accompanying the beers. They look mighty tasty on paper. There were no breakages and some ingeniously thorough padding and packing. Here's a list of the entrants below. Let us know ASAP if you entered and are not listed.

Good For What Ales You - Red Squadron Pale Ale

Richie H - It's only Rauch 'n Roll

Rossa - Galaxy Pale Ale & Nuclear Summer

The Beer Nut - Oulfella Extra Stout

Halite - Session Stout

Barry Clancy - Kilmainham Ale

John McCormack - Oak Aged Dry Stout & Chocolate Porter

MAF - Marzen Ale

Barry Davey - Styrian Stunner

Shane Conroy - Stout & American Brown Ale

Pio Pio - Dark Knight

Let the trash talk begin...

I believe that my smoked dark ale is actually called

"It's only Rauch 'n Roll..."

and then of course, by Gricean Conversational Implicature, 'but I like it'. Naturally.

Sorry about that. I wondered, but thought it was the title of the blurb you provided. I'll fix it...
