Got mine today, thanks HBW. I was thinking posting the recipes and results using the LME might be interesting.

Excellent idea. We'd love to hear back about the new LME. Its not a once off, we will continue to stock it if it works out.

We were thinking of putting extract kits together in the new year with:
- 3 Kg LME,
- hops,
- grains etc.
and we would love you to come up with recipes for us. In order to do this, we will need to pack our own hops and grains in the correct quantities.

I figure its high time we got around to properly addressing extract brewing, and the new LME provides the perfect opportunity for us to do just that.

Thanks for mine Brian. Arrived yesterday

Any one going to post some recipes as I am an AG man now.

Used to kits but never an extract. I have lots of speciality malts and hops to use up!

Maybe do a RIS / Barleywine? Do a normal size AG mash and use the LME to pump your OG up to the higher levels these styles call for.
