There is some interest in a meet up, but given the geographical spread, there are logistics issues, particularly if people are interested in a pint.

This will probably be predominately a tea/coffee affair on the night, so I suggest the following...
Beer-exchange - All attendees bring, say, 3 bottles of their own brew, and take away 3 mixed brews from other attendees. If you're all kegged up, you can bottle up a few.

Limerick seems to be the most central spot, but if interested parties post any preferences/suggestions for date/time/location, please do so here.

Please also, PM me your name, and phone number as a group-text may be useful for reminders/last minute updates and some may not be as into the tekmalojjikal end of things.

Is it time to dust this one down again?

Alright lads....
Lets aim for Thurs/Fri/Sat in last two weeks in Jan. ie 20th, 21st, 27th, or 28th. Not a six day session - just one of these evenings.... for starters. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
Let see whether the punters have a preference for a day of the week or particular weekend?
I dont think it matters to me but I will run it by my social director this evening.
Also, check out any pub guides for interesting events that we could crash.

cheers
Brett

Although we are limited for craft beer choice in Limerick, I think we have enough to make a night of it.
Starting with the beoir database [url:367h7zoe]http://www.beoir.org/index.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=search&Itemid=69[/url:367h7zoe]

[b:367h7zoe]option 1:[/b:367h7zoe] Punches cross option:
Punches has a couple of craft beers on offer. Triple rooms for $69, double $49 so we could have a few and not worry about curfiews or cops.

[b:367h7zoe]option 2:[/b:367h7zoe] The City Center option.
Lock bar advertises a fine list of craft beers [url:367h7zoe]http://www.lockebar.com/index.php?page=3[/url:367h7zoe] . And we could arrange for one hour in O'Connell's Bar or Glasshouse Restaurant for some Dungarvan bottles.
Plenty of cheap hotel options, late night chippers, and more options for inter-county transport.

[b:367h7zoe]option 3:[/b:367h7zoe] Tow my mobile bar down to the peoples park with a few kegs... Maybe more of a summer option.
