All along i thought i wasnt going to be able to make it.
BUT at the last minute it turned out i would be able to get in at the last minute, so there i was, got the DART to RDS, 8.30pm sunday night, im outside the RDS and i realise i left my wallet at home!!![/quote:1wc4bj3a]

And to add insult to injury, if you had come in, you would have found us Beoir members remaining, enjoying free beer curtesy of the brewers...

Had an excellent time at this all weekend. Booked Monday off work and all just incase. Made an appearance Friday, Saturday and Sunday!! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Highlights for me were Breweyed's Amber ale with Vanilla (Fav of the festival by far), White Gypsy's Raven and Mustang and Franciscan well's Barrelhead on Cask.

I tried the whiskey aged Clothworthy Dobbin on 2 separate occasions to give it a right go and just found it a slight let down. Im a huge fan of the original Clothworthy and I just found the Whiskey notes to be overpowering, I had to fight to get any of that lovely Chocolate with hoppy notes I normally get off it. A different beer, way too much whiskey.

Entertainment wise, the highlight was definately Pat Mcdonnell (Eoin McLove), great stand up set.

Hats off to the organisers, it was very well set up, my only slight gripe was that I was expecting a little bit more in terms of food, they seemed to only really have standard RDS foodvans (Gourmet Burger, Bagel Bar and another Burger van) and not much selection.

Great event, I hope it becomes a yearly event.

Unfortunately Madigans have the license to supply the food vendors so it was out of the promoters hands. They wanted Pig On A Spit and some good sausage vendors. When the IFSC gig goes ahead the promoters will have complete control of that area.
