Was there last night. In the interest of science I had to make sure my sampling was widespread. It didn't disappoint. Some wonderful beers and great to see new breweries there as well. My favourite was the Festival Beer (with vanilla no less) from breweyed, like liquid crunchie.

My only gripe -read constructive critisism - was the entertainment. I thought the standup comedy wasn't up to much. In fairness they tried their best but for me it didn't work. The music later last night was better and more suited to the event.

The food stalls were good (gourmet burger was lovely). Maybe a wider selection next year?

Awesome night out. Myself and Judy had such a great craic. And fantastic beers. Dead handy with the tokens also. Sure would be great if a beerfest like this with Irish brewers could happen monthly.

It was really great. I loved Dungarvan's Bitter (caramel,vanilla, whiskey - and yet not heavy), Metalmen's witbier (as good as Hoegaarden, or even better), White Gypsy`s Raven, the IPA from Franciscan Well. The standarts were very high.

The building was also really great for the event - tap with running water to clean the glasses, clean and restrooms.

It was great to talk with the brewers too.

I apologize, though, for being able to help enough - people were in need to meet and great, and I was too ''advanced'' in my tastings to help. <!-- s:mrgreen: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt="" title="Mr. Green" /><!-- s:mrgreen: --> And today I had some serious issues with my new home so I couldn't go too. Really I wish I could have helped and talked with the 'beoirs' a bit more!

I will will certainly write an article about the festival in Brazil.
