I can volunteer for one of the three days, more than one if needed. I've booked the flight back from Edinburgh Friday afternoon and wont return until Monday so that's the whole thing covered.

I do want one day at the festival though, where my only responsibility is to give the microbreweries of Ireland as much business as my bank account will let me.

As for what to do, I think a presentation on the ingredients of beer and how it's made would be great. It doesn't have to be in a homebrew context, plenty of people go on brewery tours with no interest in homebrewing. But differentiating between the Guinness brewery and the microbrewery while not associating microbrewing with homebrewing is something I've had to explain over and over to people, I think it is something in which there would be a genuine interest.

I would suggest we have a pamphlet explaining who Beoir is and what are its aims and purpose.

I can cover any of the three days. Can probably do more than one.

it would make a good talking point for potential recruits.[/quote:1erfa6t6]

Sounds like a good idea. Would A3 be big enough? I can arrange for A3 colour printing. We would need some kind of stand, or flip chart for it.[/quote:1erfa6t6]
A0 or A1 is really needed for display. If you can get me a map (preferably in vector format) I can probably get it printed at that size.

The connection between home brewing and craft brewing will need to be presented properly. A rolling video on a television showing the brewing process at "Craft" brewing level would be a suggestion.

I might be able to blag larger from the OSi (laminated too) but I can't guarantee it. Also- check out expo-dots for mounting posters on stand-walls.
