Roasted onions, and I agree they are lovely. The only place I've found them in Dublin is in the Swedish food section in Ikea, although the ones there are made in Poland so maybe you could get them in a Polish shop.

Yeah, sorry IFSC. One of my mates got off at Tara st Dart station, walked to temple bar, and then rang asking us where we were and where the octoberfest was, it all seemed very quiet to him. He was at the IFC LOL!

Interesting - what licensing law is this, I wonder. Don't remember ever having to purchase a meal in any other pub after 10pm. BeerNut must know....

So if the voucher is €5, and that gets you a "selection of a substantial meal", then surely that meal is ALSO worth €5, no? Or do you have to throw another fiver alongside the voucher? Confused.... <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? --> <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? --> <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->

Its a bit sneaky what they've done there...
They've kind of used the law to their advantage (and slightly bent it in my opinion) - alot of people will buy the voucher and not use it so thyere a fiver up.
Where as if you were forced to buy the actual food they would be up a a fiver minus the cost of the food.
I dont know what exactly the law says but i would have thought you had to have possessed some food at some stage
