I'm Going to the Launch tonight of the Oktoberfest Beag in Cork .

I heard they actually got Wooden Barrels of the Paulaner Oktober Bier , so it'll be interesting to see if they serve any of that tonight .


My mother couldn't get me the lederhosen !

It's a very good example of a Marzen ( can't do the umlaut )
good malty flavour, nice mouthfeel and not overly carbonated

The wooden Barrels can be tapped like a cask , but they have a valve on them for hooking up to a beer line.

I'm going on Saturday, with a few of the lads, so should be good fun. I hope there is some food, as it's an early enough start.
