That's a bloody shame Thom. Do you have a sodastream machine? <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

That is a pain.

There seems to be a lot of that going around lately.

Have people started using different carbonation techniques recently?

I use only the very finest Tesco Value sugar to prime my beer.

Mine came good in the end. Just slower than normal.

Séan,

I'm curious - if you're just doing a few bottles do you boil up a sugar solution or do you add the sugar directly to the bottles? I know the boil is recommended for sanitation purposes but I've used both methods in the past without any noticeable difference.

If I'm just doing a few bottles and putting the rest into a cornie, I just chuck the sugar into the bottles. Never had any trouble doing this.
