We're gonna bring in 4 litres of our Wit and IPA (8 litres in total! ). I'm gonna see if Geoff will set aside a couple of crates in the cold room so if people want they can bring their beers in ahead of Thursday to avoid having warm shaken up beer on the night.

I used carbonation drops in my IPA and it is very undercarbed I've tried 2 bottles now, and both were only barely carbonated.

I don't know for sure that this is the fault of the drops, but I have never used them before and never had any problems with carbonation. But I do suspect the drops. Now I do have one more test, I did a turbo cider and bottled it with them also. if that is also flat, then it's the drops most likely.

yeah so i've to bring in 12 bottles of beer on thursday morning and put it in the fridge in work. I wonder if it'll be there on the way home too. At least if it's shaken up on the way in it'll be a BIT of a head on it. Well disappointed with this one I have to admit

yeah I dunno. it COULD be that it had too long in the fermenter and not enough yeast came over to the bottles. i gave it 1 + 3 weeks in primary and secondary I think.
I'd test them before placing blind faith in them - unlike me.

Thanks for the warning - I'll probably only bottle a handful so it won't be a disaster if they don't work out. Were the bottles kept warm enough for carbonation? I've had problems with that in the past.
