It's ok Graeme, people are just getting in their excuses early.
Did I mention that this was my first attempt at a wheat beer? And it's only bottled a week? And the dog ate my copy of beersmith?

Just to buck the trend, I am going to say that my beers are fully carbonated and taste very nice indeed.

My wit beer was so nice that most of the batch was consumed in one week. The only problem is that it has a lot of yeast sediment in it.

I have had two bottles of the wheat beer so far and I must say I enjoyed it.

I'm not sure how I would categorise it, as it uses malted wheat and German hops, but a Belgian wheat beer yeast. It uses no peel or spices.

I think it is quite like a Weissbier in character, but not exactly.

That sounds like me wheat beer.
Excuses aside, I used Brewferm yeast, but made no special considerations for fermenting temp., as being my first I wanted to make a 'control' batch. Sampled a bottle lastnight, and I like it. Nice and refreshing.

I think it'd be a good idea for people to bring along the recipes they used to hand out so everyone can learn something. And if people want to say a few words about their beer that's grand! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

I presume someone will be doing a write-up on this, and perhaps bringing a camera?
